માહિતી રસપ્રદ છે.

બીજીપણ એવી વાત જે ખબર નહોતી અને ડોક્ટરને પૂછ્યું કે કેટલાક લોકોને કેમ રાત્રે પેશાબ કરવા માટે વારંવાર ઉઠવું પડે છે. હૃદયરોગ Dr એ આપેલ જવાબ – ગુરુત્વાકર્ષણના કારણે જયારે તમે ઉભેલા હોવ ત્યારે પાણી તમારા શરીરના નીચેના ભાગમાં જમા થાય છે (પગે સોજા આવવા). પણ જયારે તમે સુઈ જાવ છો ત્યારે તમારા પગ કિડનીના સમાંતરે હોય છે અને ત્યારે કીડની તે પાણીને બહાર ફેંકે છે. એ ખબર હતી કે તમારે શરીરના ઝેરી કચરાને બહાર ફેંકવા માટે પાણીની આવશ્યકતા હોય છે પણ આ માહિતી નવીજ હતી.

પાણી પીવા માટેનો યોગ્ય સમય, એક હૃદયરોગ Dr આપેલી ખુબજ અગત્યની માહિતી. યોગ્ય સમયે પીવામાં આવેલું

પાણી શરીરમાં તેની અસરકારકતા વધારી દે છે ------

(1) સવારે ઉઠ્યા પછી ૨ ગ્લાસ પાણી પીવાથી આંતરિક અંગો સક્રિય થાય છે.

(2) જમવાના અડધા કલાક પહેલા ૧ ગ્લાસ પાણી પીવાથી પાચનક્રિયા સક્રિય થાય છે.

(3) સ્નાન કરતા પહેલા ૧ ગ્લાસ પાણી બ્લડપ્રેશરને નીચું રાખે છે.

(4) રાત્રે સુતા પહેલા ૧ ગ્લાસ પાણી પીવાથી સ્ટ્રોક અને હાર્ટએટેકનું જોખમ ઘટે છે.

(5) રાત્રે પાણી પીને સુવાથી પગના સ્નાયુઓ જકડાઈ(સાદી રીતે કહીએ તો નસ ચઢી જવી) જતા નથી સ્નાયુઓને પાણીની જરૂરત હોય છે, અને જો તેમણે પાણી ના મળે તો તે જકડાઈ જાય અને તમે ચીસ પાડીને બેઠા થાવ.

૨૦૦૮ ના અમેરિકન કોલેજ ઓફ કાર્ડીઓલોજીના જર્નલના અંકમાં પ્રસિદ્ધ થયેલ જેમાં જણાવ્યા પ્રમાણે.....

(1) હાર્ટએટેક સામાન્ય રીતે સવારના ૬ થી બપોર સુધીમાં વધારે આવે છે જો રાત્રીના સમયે હાર્ટએટેક આવે તો તે વ્યક્તિની સાથે કંઇક અસામાન્ય બનાવ બન્યો હોય એમ પણ સંભવ છે.

(2) જો તમે એસ્પીરીન જેવી કોઈ દવા લેતા હોવ તો એ દવા રાતના સમયે લેવી જોઈએ કારણકે એસ્પિરીનની અસર ૨૪

કલાક માટે રહેતી હોય છે એટલે સવારના સમયે તેની તીવ્રતમ

માત્રામાં અસર હોય છે.

(3) એસ્પીરીન તમારા દવાના ડબ્બામાં ઘણા વર્ષો સુધી રહી શકે છે અને જયારે તે જૂની થાય છે ત્યારે એમાંથી (સરકો) વિનેગર જેવી વાસ આવે છે.

(4) બીજી વાત જે દરેકને મદદરૂપ થશે – બેયર કંપની ક્રિસ્ટલ જેવી એસ્પીરીન બનાવે છે જે જીભ ઉપર મુકતાજ ઓગળી જાય છે. તે સામાન્ય ગોળી કરતા ઝડપથી કામ કરે છે. માટે એસ્પીરીન કાયમ તમારી સાથે રાખો.

(5) હાર્ટએટેકના સર્વમાન્ય લક્ષણો ડાબા હાથ અને

છાતીમાં દુખાવા ઉપરાંત પણ કેટલાક લક્ષણો છે જેની માહિતી પણ જરૂરી છે જેમ કે દાઢીમાં ખુબજ દુખાવો થવો,

ઉલટી ઉબકા જેવો અનુભવ થવો, ખુબજ પરસેવો થવો. પણ આ લક્ષણો ક્યારેક્જ દેખાય છે.

(6) નોંધ – હાર્ટએટેકમાં ક્યારેક છાતીમાં દુખાવો ના પણ થાય.

મોટાભાગના (લગભગ ૬૦%) લોકોને જયારે ઊંઘમાં હાર્ટએટેક

આવ્યો તો તેઓ જગ્યા નહતા. પરંતુ જો તમને છાતીમાં જોરદાર

દુખાવો ઉપડે તો તેનાથી તમે ગાઢ નિંદ્રામાંથી પણ જાગી જાવ છો.

(7) જો તમને હાર્ટએટેક આવે તો – તાત્કાલિક ૨ એસ્પીરીન

મોઢામાં મુકીદો અને થોડાક પાણી સાથે તેને ગળી જાવ.

પછી ૧૦૮ ને ફોન કરો, તમારા પડોશી કે સગા જેઓ નજીક

રહેતા હોય તેમણે ફોન કરો અને કહો “હાર્ટએટેક” અને એ પણ

જણાવો કે તમે ૨ એસ્પીરીન લીધી છે. પછી મુખ્ય દરવાજાની સામે સોફા કે ખુરશીમાં બેસો અને તેમના આવવાની રાહ જુઓ – સુઈ જશો નહિ.
