*માથામાં સખત દુ:ખાવો હતો, તેથી હું મારા પરિચિત કેમિસ્ટની દુકાને માથાના દુ:ખાવાની ટીકડી લેવા ગયો.*  

*દુકાનમાં એક નોકર હતો, તેણે મને ટીકડીની એક સ્ટ્રિપ  આપી, પછી મેં તેને પૂછ્યું કે, સિંહા સાહેબ (માલિક) ક્યાં ગયા છે? તેણે કહ્યું કે, આજે સવારથી સાહેબને માથું દુ:ખતું હતું, તેથી તે સામેની દુકાનમાં કોફી પીવા ગયા છે!*

*હું મારા હાથમાં તે દવાના પતાકડું જોતો હતો!*

*માતાનું બ્લડ પ્રેશર અને સુગર વધી ગઈ હતી, તેથી વહેલી સવારે માતાને તેના જાણીતા વૃદ્ધ મહિલા ડૉક્ટર પાસે લઈ ગયો.* 

*ક્લિનિકની બહારના બગીચામાં નજર કરી તો ત્યાં એ મહિલા ડૉકટર યોગ અને કસરત કરી રહ્યા હતા! મારે લગભગ 45 મિનિટ રાહ જોવી પડી!*

*એ પછી, ડૉકટર તેના લીંબુનું શરબત લઈને ક્લિનિકમાં આવ્યા અને તેની માતાની તપાસ શરૂ કરી.  તેણે મારી માતાને કહ્યું કે, હવે તમારી દવાઓ વધારવી પડશે. પ્રિસ્ક્રિપ્શનમાં 5 કે 6 દવાઓના લખીને, નિયમિત દવાઓ ખાવાની સૂચના આપી. પછી મેં તેને જિજ્ઞાસાથી પૂછ્યું કે, જો તમે કેટલાં સમયથી યોગ કરો છો? તો તેણે કહ્યું કે, મને બ્લડ પ્રેશર અને અન્ય ઘણી તકલીફો હોવાથી તે છેલ્લાં 15 વર્ષથી યોગ કરી છે!*

*હું મારા હાથમાં રહેલું માતાનું પ્રિસ્ક્રિપ્શન જોઈ રહ્યો હતો, જેમાં તેણે બીપી અને સુગર ઘટાડવા માટે ઘણી દવાઓ લખી હતી!*

*પત્ની સાથે બ્યુટી પાર્લર ગયો હતો.  મારી પત્નીને વાળની ​​ટ્રિટમેન્ટ કરાવવી હતી કારણ કે, તેના વાળ ખૂબ જ બરછટ થઈ ગયાં હતાં.*  

*રિસેપ્શનમાં બેઠેલી યુવતીએ તેને ઘણા પેકેજ અને તેના ફાયદા જણાવ્યા. આ પેકેજો 1200 થી 3000 સુધીના હતા અને થોડી છૂટ બાદ તેણે મારી પત્નીને રૂ .3000 નું પેકેજ 2400 રૂપિયામાં આપ્યું.*

*મારો શ્રીમંત પિતરાઇ ભાઈ કે જે મોટા ડેરી ફાર્મ ધરાવે છે તે તેના ફાર્મમાં ગયો.  વાડીમાં 150 જેટલી વિદેશી ગાયો હતી, જેનું દૂધ મશીન દ્વારા દોહીને પેકિંગ પ્રોસેસ કરવામાં આવી રહી હતી.* 

*ફાર્મ એક  અલગ ખૂણામાં 2 દેશી ગાયો લીલો ચારો ચરી રહી હતી! તે જોઈને મેં પૂછયું ત્યારે તેઓએ કહ્યું કે,  જે વિદેશી જર્સી ગાયનું દૂધ તેમના ડેરી ફાર્મમાંથી ગ્રાહકોને પુરું પાડવામાં આવે છે તે દૂધ તેમના ઘરે વાપરતા નથી, પરંતુ પરિવારના ઉપયોગ માટે આ બંને દેશી ગાયનું દૂધ, દહીં અને ઘીનો ઉપયોગ કરવામાં આવે છે!*

*હું તે લોકો વિશે વિચારતો હતો જે બ્રાન્ડેડ દૂધને શ્રેષ્ઠ માને છે.*

 *વિશિષ્ટ થાળી અને શુદ્ધ ખોરાક પ્રખ્યાત એવા  એક  રેસ્ટોરન્ટમાં અમે જમવા ગયાં...* 

 *વિદાય આપતી વખતે મેનેજરે ખૂબ નમ્રતાથી પૂછ્યું, "સાહેબ, ભોજનનો સ્વાદ કેવો હતો? અમે શુદ્ધ ઘી, મગફળીનું તેલ અને ઓર્ગેનિક મસાલાનો ઉપયોગ કરીએ છીએ. અમે ઘર જેવું જ જમવાનો પ્રયત્ન કરીએ છીએ."*

*મે ભોજનની ખૂબ પ્રશંસા કરી તો  તે મને પોતનું વિઝિંગ કાર્ડ આપવા માટે તેની કેબીનમાં લઈ ગયો. બહાર કાઉન્ટર પર સ્ટીલના ત્રણ ડબ્બા વાળું ટિફિન મૂકીને, એક વેઈટરે બીજાને કહ્યું, "સુનિલ સરનું ટિફિન અત્યારે તેમની કેબીનની અંદર મૂકો, પછી એ જમશે."  મેં એ ટિફિન લઈ જતા વેઈટરને પૂછ્યું, "સુનીલ સર અહીં જમતા નથી?!"  તેમણે જવાબ આપ્યો- "સુનીલ સાહેબ ક્યારેય બહારનું ખાતા નથી, હંમેશા ઘરનું જ ખાય છે!"*

 *હું મારા હાથમાં 1670 રૂપિયાનું બિલ જોતો હતો!*

*મોટેભાગે જે ચીજો આપણા માટે વેચાય છે તેનો ઉપયોગ વેચાણકર્તાઓ જાતે કરતા નથી!*
